Mourning Edition

Yeah, yeah, I read your fricking, answer-avoiding little chat room transcript about how taking Bob Edwards away from my morning commute is just the greatest thing to happen to “Morning Edition” and we should all just deal.

Bite me.

It’s first thing in the morning. I don’t want to deal. I want to listen to Bob Edwards.

I’m with you. I listen to Bob Edwards every morning and he helps me get through my commute through the tourist corridor of I-4. The “reasoning” is just beyond me.

  2. Don says:

Admitting the fact that this is just one in a series of format/personality changes in TV/radio programs that I have experienced in my life (“Good night, Chet” “Good night David”, etc.) I still have the undeniable conviction that THIS time it is going to be different. My mornings will NOT be the same.

And I don’t like it at all.

  3. jadedju says:

I wish there was a meaningful way to punish them for this, like withholding my pledge this year. But I already was withholding my pledge this year, due to a little unemployment problem. Still, I’m tempted to send them a letter saying it’s all because of Bob.

  4. Linkmeister says:

The news came out the day my local station started its pledge drive. You should have heard the GM assuring listeners he didn’t make this decision, and he didn’t like it, and so on.

  5. “Twenty-Five years ago today…”

..began Bob Edwards in his tribute this morning to Morning Edition.
