Now is the time on Sprockets when we dance.

Yesterday, my baby girl went and got herself a job working at a movie theater. I don’t think she’s touched the ground since.

We’re taking bets on when the first utterance of “I hate my stupid job” escapes her lips, but for now she’s drinking in that first job excitement.

When I was about 13 yrs. old, one of my stepsisters had a part-time job in a movie theater in Indianapolis. Every summer that I visited my dad up there, she’d let me go to work with her. Sometimes they’d let me make the popcorn and work the ticket window. Getting to see movies for free was the greatest thrill for me. I hope your daughter continues to enjoy her first job :))
