I spoke with Solonor around 9PM tonite. They got their power back this afternoon, so things are going well for them. They won’t get their cable back until mid-week, so that means no internet. Which means y’all are stuck with me for the interim. Unless he has ‘net access at work, assuming he get’s to go to work. More on that as the week progresses…

The Rasreth clan went out for a ride this afternoon, to survey the damage. Even as far inland as they are, there is quite a bit of damage. Nothing compared to the coast, Solonor notes, but it was quite a storm. Some of his neighbors still don’t have power back yet…
Now it’s time for the cleanup. As much as I joked about the hurricanes and tornados that you folks down south have to deal with, they are scary events to deal with. For me, I’ll take my chances with the cold, and leave the hurricanes and tornado’s to you folks. Best of luck to those who have managed this one, and sincerest condolences to those who lost loved ones to this storm, and to those who lost their homes. Be well, folks.
