Eartrembler Nets JVL #1 Pitcher Award

In April, when the name of Zugzush Eartrembler appeared on the Midgard lineup card it was a virtual lock on a victory. He started 4 times and chalked up 4 wins and no losses. With those stats it was also a virtual lock that he would be named the Jules Verne League Pitcher of the Month.
Eartrembler shackled opposing batters on 34 base hits and a .279 batting average. He rang up 14 strikeouts in 31 innings of work, surrendered 3 walks and fashioned a sparkling 2.61 ERA.

IAL Selects Elfprodder April's #1 Pitcher

The Isaac Asimov League made it official today -- Kakduh Elfprodder of the Rimmerworld Clones is the Pitcher of the Month. In April he impressed the sportswriters with his domination of league hitters.
Elfprodder made 3 starts, registered 3 wins and no losses with a solid 0.69 ERA. In 26 innings he allowed 12 hits, racked up 22 strikeouts, walked 6 and permitted teams to hit .143 against him.
