Coulter, Limbaugh Team Up For Comedy Show
Yep. Fox “News” is trying its hand at comedy. (Intentionally, for a change.) And if the clips I have seen on YouTube are any indication, it’s just as awful as it sounds.
This show was meant to be a conservative version of “The Daily Show.” It is a botch.
“The 1/2 Hour News Hour” does not comment on what is happening; it simply takes swipes at people. These people include Howard Dean, Hillary Clinton, Dennis Kucinich, Barack Obama and Ed Begley Jr. Other joke topics are the ACLU, Time magazine, children’s books and global warming.
Laughter, of an awfully canned variety, greets all the gags. Nothing happening on screen justifies these outbursts.

Every day Fox gets another step closer to Mike Judge’s version in Idiocracy (a pretty funny movie, by the way):
Oh joy of joys… I just can’t wait to find out when they play that show, so I can hurry into the other room to watch paint dry. Or maybe clip my nails. Or sort all the damn files on my PC that I never get around to.
Still more reason for me to never bother stopping on FOX. At least when there isn’t an NFL or MLB game on, at least….
Yeah, House is good, but it usually airs when I’m watching something else, which I can’t remember.
Does FOX have anything else worth watching? Idol causes me extreme pain.
And another thing….
You ain’t better yet? What’s up with that? You got some strange Floridian version of the creeping crud?

Thanks for the Idiocracy clip…I thought that was one of the funnier parts of the movie…I had to rewind the beefcake/cheesecake news anchor bit b/c I laughed all the way through it the first time I watched it when we rented it.
Funny movie…a bit uneven…but smart funny.
