I just got back from the Post Office where I shipped off copies of the cd to CDBaby, the Copyright Office, WPRK and Brandelion. They look spectacular.
I sent the cd’s to cdbaby by Express Mail. So, they should get there on Monday. I might even have a sales link that day (more likely it will be later in the week).
Filling out the copyright form was a little surreal, actually. It all seems so official and grown up (characteristics not typically found around these parts).
Stay tuned for the official launch of the new web site, as well. We have all the lyrics and stories behind the songs, photos of your favorite rock star, a totally fabricated bio, and many other bits and pieces of marketing hype designed to induce you to crank open your iTunes and shell out cash for the soft, emo stylings of Lester “Don’t Call Me Solly” Norton.
Great news!
Hey dude…we saw V for Vendetta last night. Let me just say that if the DVD is gifted to me, it’s yours. I reviewed it at the Big Red House.
Congrats rock star! Don’t forget the little people, er… or those of us who are short too.
We can’t call you Solly anymore?
I think I’ve lost my will to live.
Dear sir–
If calling you ‘Solly’ is wrong, i don’t want to be right.
Thank you
And congrats, bud, on your CD. Much success to a fine fellow.
I think “Dragonleg” just called you “Solly”.
So, Solly, you may be interested to know that someone at the Copyright Office *will* listen to your CD. I recently got a chance to tour the offices and see what they do, and they were quite adamant that all recorded music selections are listened to, and they are quite proud of that fact.
Woo hoo! That’s ONE!
Solly Solly Solly Solly Solly…..
Congrats, Bud. I’m real happy for you, and looking forward to seeing the finished product. Solly. 🙂
Rock on dude!!!
Hmmm… gone all grown-up and don’t want to be called Solly any more, have ya?
I can’t wait to get my sweaty paws on a copy of the CD. Tell CD Baby to hurry up!
