When Bloggers Attack

Time for the Idiotarian to weigh in on this Little Green Footballs thing.

I am not always (ever?) a huge fan of what Charles Johnson has to say. And I’m not as outraged as Amish Tech Support and others are over this, but I will say this: I agree wholeheartedly with the backlash against MSNBC for the way they handled LGF. Either they picked LGF to be a Best Blog or (their fallback position) “don’t blame us, you voted for it.” Either way, for them to resort to Fox-style “When Animals Attack” promos like “Is this news or hate?” to fan the criticism is completely unfair. People have a right to read LGF and make up their own minds without being egged on by the media.

    I see it as just another episode of Blog High School. One clique disses another clique and then the dissed clique gets all their posse to diss the dissers back. Dig my hip lingo.
