Welcome to Solonor’s Groovy Computer Baseball League, aka Tolkien Baseball.
Solonor’s Groovy Computer Baseball League (SGCBL) is meant to be a fun simulation of running a professional baseball team. The twist is that the setting for the teams and the names of the players are loosely based on the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. It sounds strange, but the number one rule is that we have fun. All other rules are subordinate to that. SGCBL is a fun pastime that uses Out of the Park Baseball (OOTP) to simulate everything.
This is a non-profit project made by fans of the works of J.R.R. Tolkien and computer baseball. All trademarks and copyrights belong to their respective holders, and they reserve all rights.

And they’ll watch the game and it’ll be as if they dipped themselves in magic waters. The memories will be so thick they’ll have to brush them away from their faces. Beings will come Frodo. The one constant through all the years, Frodo, has been baseball. Middle Earth has rolled by like an army of Mumakil. It has been erased like a slate, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it’s a part of our past, Frodo. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh… beings will come Frodo.
