Amateur Night

One bad thing my vacation brings for you is that I have time to play with my toys. Yes, I have been preparing an assault on your ears again, good people.

First up, my Gordon Lightfoot impression: Early Morning Rain

Next is my bad imitation of Warren Zevon. I made this tune up from the words to a really old song found in Carl Sandburg’s American Songbag. It’s called I Was Born Almost 10,000 Years Ago.

And here’s a link to the first one I did, if you’re so inclined to listen: Like A Hurricane

These are so good. The melodies for both are great. EMR has a nice haunting quality. 10K Years just plain rocks. I love the guitar solos, great guitar sound and melody! I also LOVE the lyrics.

I can remember that old garage again!
