One of the souvenirs my so-called daughter brought home with her was a wooden thingy with “Go Red Sox!” burned into it. She refused to have the guy burn “Yankees suck” onto the other side, because “that’s just bad sportsmanship.”
Argh! Haven’t I taught her anything?

Yankees Suck is not bad sportmanship. It’s a self-defense mechanism for we pathetic Red Sox fans……..sigh.

Little kid is chanting, “Yankees Suck! Yankees Suck!” Mom is appalled, and says, “I didn’t raise you to use that kind of language!”
So the kid promises never to say “Yankees” again.
I own four “Yankees Suck” t-shirts, plus I have a “Yankees Suck” sticker on my car. It goes very well with the Red Sox license plates!
I once saw a guy with a little boy…about 7-8 years old. They were wearing matching “Yankees Suck” t-shirts. Now THAT is good parenting! LOL!!!

Hey, the Yankees are all we pathetic New York Rangers fans have going for us. When hockey fails us, yet again, at least we have a decent summer we can look forward to.

At least the Rangers have won a championship in our lifetime, but we “beyond-pathetic” Red Sox fans haven’t ever seen a championship in our lifetimes…. and perhaps never will. Sure, we had the Celtics, and even the Patsies gave us one memorable year, but The Sox, oh woe are we, the Red Sox fans… And the Yankess still Suck! 🙂
