GM Gets Off Its Ass

In spite of the fact that every automaker lobbyist has been out to kill it, and in spite of Bush’s pro-oil company stance, the fuel cell powered car is finally on its way (Wired 10.08: GM’s Billion-Dollar Bet). While other car makers are being dragged, kicking and screaming, into the 21st century, GM is finally trying to get a real hydrogen-powered car out to consumers before all the oil dries up. For real, this time. Not just a marketing gimmick. Really. They mean it. Just 10 more years. 20 tops….
