One step closer to the most secure operating system on the planet… and to getting my lazy butt off Microsoft products. I’ve already switched my Office apps to Open Office, my e-mail client from Outlook to Thunderbird and am leaning toward dumping IE in favor of Firefox. And, believe it or not, it’s not just because I’m cheap. Microsoft is hauling its customers away in a chauffeur-driving limousine with antics like holding onto a security vulnerability for 200 days before releasing a patch.
Now, if I can just get OOTP to run on Linux, I’ll be all set.
