My Real Stats

Keeping with the RPG motif, here are the stats I would have, were I a character in Dungeons and Dragons. I think they’re a little harsh. I’m way more smarterer than that…

Str: 9
Int: 11
Wis: 12
Dex: 13
Con: 9
Chr: 14

You can get your real life dnd stats, too!

Keep your “dork” comments to yourself. You know who I’m talkin’ to…

Nursing Half-Orcs Beware

Too funny! Anyone that’s played an RPG should get a kick out of this.

The Brits Love Us A Little Too

A comment from Joe on the What’s Not to Like? blog points us to an article on the BBC site along the same lines.

I like the comment from Erik: “If America wasn’t on this planet, who else would the aliens abduct?”

Dam Burst

Ya know how you couldn’t get me to shut up before?

Try keeping me away from blogging and commenting on blogs all day.

Just a warning. Try and keep up tonight…

Note To Self

When in a meeting with your team, do not automatically open your e-mail, just because it goes “DING!”

You never know what subject line might pop up in front of you and your co-workers (and the horse they rode in on)…

Right, branmuffin? Heh.

We… are… dead… and… this… is… Hell!

Argh! One day without blogging and without perusing other blogs (well, all but the most essential ones anyway), and I’m freaking out!! AAAAAAAAARRRGGH!

Whew. I feel better now.

The first step is admitting you have a problem…

Help System Rename

Continuing with the work theme, we need help coming up with a new name for our call tracking system. Here are a few suggestions, but the acronyms might be a little off…

I’m Such a Copycat

Dick had to quit blogging from work and is experiencing the joy of a layoff-induced extra workload. So, I thought I’d join in on the fun. Wheeeeee.

If I ever did post from work (which I never do, for those of you who might actually know where I work), this would be the last post from thereabouts.

Just in time for my first blogiversary on Saturday: LESS BLOGGING!

It’s the little things…

Perusing my referrer list, I saw hits from a search engine called WiseNut. Never heard of it before. So, I took a peek.

It’s nothing too spectacular, but it has this neat little “take a peek” feature. When you get your list of results, you can click on “take a peek,” and a little square preview area below the entry will show you the site. No popups. No leaving the window for another one.

Simple, but cool.

Update: Bah! The site won’t work in anything but IE. No warnings. Just “Not IE? Go away!”

Best Friends

My friend, Sgt. Grump, is funny – kinda like Oscar the Grouch… but even more sarcastic.

When our company decided to conduct a survey to check on our morale, our Florida office scored particularly low on one of the questions. So, he circulated the following e-mail. I think I am going to use this as a guide for life.
