I’ve been meaning to sign up for this forever. AORTAL – the anti-portal is a collection of sites that have agreed to at least once a week promote another in the independent web.
I know, I’m a big ol’ link slut already, but this will give me a chance to have a specific topic for Friday and to look for a neat, new site about which to write. For now, I’m going to limit the sites I pick to blogs, but that may change.

Yes, I’ve finally been sucked into this Nation States thing, too. My country, The Kingdom of Goofbeckistan, “is a tiny, safe nation, notable for its compulsory military service. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 6 million have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.
I feel really bad. I feel like I’ve abandoned Shel and all his hard work at putting together and running blogwhore 2: the revenge of blogwhore, because I haven’t pimped it since getting the boot.
For shame.
These people are working their butts off to make an entertaining show. I’m still watching. I hope lots of people are. If you’re not going to the game site, at least pay a visit to the participating blogs.
