We’re a Happy Ramones Fan

While some of the acts (like Garbage, Green Day and Rancid) looked right, I wondered how U2, the Pretenders and Tom Waits would handle the humor and three-chord power without looking stupid.

New Toys!

Back from the computer show with my new keychain mini-camera. Plus, I couldn’t resist getting one of these keychain LED flashlights for $8. The white ones are super bright!

Sanitization

One of the new features of MT 2.6 is to include the Sanitize plug-in by Brad Choate. This strips out everything from HTML except for specified tags, so that people can’t send you nasty scripts and other maliciousness.

Unfortunately, though, if you want to allow nice people to post precious little bits of graphic goodness in your comments, you must go in and explicitly allow the tags and attributes. It’s not a big deal; I just didn’t know about it.

What’s neat is that, somehow, I missed the cool, new MT Plugin Directory but found it while looking for a link to the Sanitize plug-in. Yay! More toys!!

This is my long way of saying: “Thanks, ladies, for the VD luvin’.”

Good thing my wife doesn’t read this blog…
