Run Away!

Reading blogs at work? Click to escape to a suitable site!
In case you’re wondering what this little green button does, it’s a Web Fire Escape. You can go to the site and program it to take you to any “work-acceptable” web page (or a fake doc). It defaults to Google. That way, one button will save you from the stern looks and accusatory glances of coworkers and supervisors when you’re reading my blog at work. (I know, I know. It’s a God-given right and your duty as a well-informed citizen to read my random musings the instant they are published. Some employers, however, stubbornly refuse to listen to reason.)

Wasting your life doing meaningless tasks just to get a paycheck might not be spiritually fulfilling, but it sure comes in handy when you want to go see X2 this weekend. So, for your own safety, please, only read WFE-enabled blogs at work.

Or use Ghostzilla
