CLOWNS….
Do you love them or do you hate them?
Personally, I find them somewhat of a freaky nature but lovable. I mean really, grown men and women in face make-up always makes me a bit freaked out. Could be why I never liked KISS.
My daughter adores clowns. My son hates them. What’s your take when was the last time you had a run in with a clown?

Hello dere, eh?
Yes, friends, this is what a geek does on his holiday in Canada… he sits in the lobby of the Delta Fredericton and cleans up comment spam while his exhausted family sleeps.
We are having a faboo time and have taken approximately 350 of the promised 999 photos (and for a change I am not exaggerating). We’ve eaten enough seafood to put the fishing industry back on track. We’ve visited with friends and met new ones. And we still have 5 days to go!

talk about the weather
Is weather the topic of the day? It’s good to have a topic because it keeps me from trying to take over Solly’s site with Red Sox bashing.
Today is July 13. We’re in the throes of summer in New York.
It’s about 65 degrees right now. It’s been raining on and off for two days. Last night it rained so much that I kept having to get up to go the bathroom. The sound of water trickling down your drain pipe will do that to you.
More rain tonight, probably more tomorrow.
But it’s 65 degrees in July and that’s something I can get behind. I tend to get really cranky when the temperature gets above 75.
Non weather related local news: Guy takes wife hostage, falls asleep. Dude is an embarassment to hostage takers everywhere.
It’s So Hot!
How hot is it MJ?
It’s so hot that the mountains have spontaneously burst into flames.
I have no room to complain however. I voluntarily moved to the surface of the sun otherwise known as the Colorado Desert (psst: it’s not really in Colorado at all, that tends to confuse people, it’s actually part of the Sonoran Desert in California, Arizona and Mexico).
Today the heat index is up to 110

Update on Michigan’s Weather
Dana requested a weather update, so here’s mine: It’s nearly 90 in southwestern Michigan with a dew point of 75. It’s as if we moved to Solly’s Florida.
I’m staying in the central AC, as are the dogs and the children.
And that’s my exciting update for this Tuesday.

What’s ya know…
Hey… It’s Tuesday.
Yep, that’s about as exciting as it gets in NO WHERE Indiana. The heat is one of those walk out the door and get hit with a WALL of heat. So how do we handle that… well, we stay inside, OF COURSE!
Its so hot right now, we even have the windows all drawn to keep the heat from coming through those ever present dual panel, tip in to clean vinyl windows that they suggested were EXACTLY that we needed. So hot, the dogs look at me with this “WHATEVER” look when I suggested they might want to go OUTSIDE for awhile.
So now you know how exciting life is in Indiana….. how’s it in your world?
