To survive in the bigs, you’ve got to be a scrapper like Forerunner *Baggins. It never pays to take a day off from the batting cages or to shrug off the advice of the hitting coach. It all paid off today as Ravenhill’s first baseman pinned down the Mordor Conference Batter of the Month trophy today.
He hit .367 in June collecting 10 home runs, 27 RBIs and 20 runs scored.
*Baggins is currently hitting at a .317 pace with 30 home runs and 63 RBIs.
