Girith of Rhun, skipper of the Bywater Bounders, was voted 2049 Shire Conference Manager of the Year and accepted the award earlier today.
He guided Bywater to first place in the Shire Conference Hobbit Division with a 93-69 record.
“I’m very happy about this,” he said at the press conference. “But I’m more happy about what my boys did on the field. They battled their butts off for me all year. They should get the credit.”
