Proving the old adage that one man’s trash is another man’s treasure, the Darkwings announced today the acquisition of 32-year old RHP Zobmag Daggerdrinker from the Lond Daer Warriors in exchange for 20-year old minor league 3B Snubguh Daggerslobber, 23-year old minor league 1B Ahvo Hasle, 21-year old minor league 1B Fosco the Candlemaker, and 20-year old minor league C Miirphys Nightwing. “This isn’t the deal of the century,” acknowledged the Darkwings, “but we think it will improve the direction of both teams.”
