A certain person used to come into the office and used to go to lunch with us and stuff. Now she’s all like, “I’m not going to work anymore” and “I think I’ll spend the afternoon at Borders” and junk.
Geez. You’d think she was unemployed or something…
Well, in case she’s looking to return to the world of the miserable, here are a few Job-Hunting Tips. My favorite being: Post your resume online. This will give it an air of authority and legitimacy that only the Internet can confer.

Let’s get back to the real point of this blog – making fun of people!!
Hey, everybody! Laugh and point at The 101 Dumbest Moments in Business.
Sorry Parliament. Blair is right. No matter how stupid I might think the war with Iraq might be or how assinine our leadership, we would lose our last shred of credibility if we packed up and went home now. The last thing we can do now is back down.
Thank you, Mr. President. You have painted us into a corner. The entire fate of the United States is in the hands of a homicidal dictator. We have no power left. Everyone is holding his breath to see what Saddam does. And what Saddam does now decides our actions. Not a single thing we do matters until after he decides what to do. Isn’t that special?
The bestest dude and his spousal unit and mini-dudes are coming to Florida in April. That doesn’t give us much time to plan, people! If we’re going to have a proper party, where all the little bloggers meetup with His Royal Schmuckiness, we need to get cracking.
It looks like the only “I don’t have to get up and go to work tomorrow” date available is April 19. But, if we promise to be relatively sane (and there will be children involved), we can pick any date between April 19 and 22.
So, please e-mail me or leave comments here if:
Thank you.
After much research I have found nearly every screenshot and piece of information I need to form the best timeline and history of Microsoft Windows. To view the pictures fully just click on the one you want to see. So here it is, a comprehensive and full guide to the history of Microsoft’s Windows Operating System starting just before it all started, Multiplan and Interface Manager.
Screenshots from my past… ah, Windows 2.0… I remember it well…
I mean: AAAAHHH! Windows 2.0! I remember it!! Hell!

Bush: Saddam has 48 hours to leave Iraq
Here’s my prediction:
Saddam leaves Iraq, claiming it is for the good of the Iraqi people.
We still find some excuse to invade.
One of the tools in NewzCrawler is RSS Autodiscovery. When you turn it on, it checks out the pages for newsfeeds (XML versions of the page). One of the ways it does this is by looking in the header of the page for a LINK tag that points it to the feed. It should be in the HEAD section of the page, and Movable Type templates include it by default.
As usual, a great place to find out about this stuff is at dive into mark.
Something that is annoying, though, is when your newsfeed points to the “wrong” file. Now, I know there is no right and wrong with this stuff, but if you set up a nice RSS version 2.0 page, why should you steer everyone to the version 1.0 page by default?
To make sure that everyone sees your spiffy new feed with the full-post content, check the following tag in your blog template:
<link rel=”alternate” type=”application/rss+xml” title=”RSS” href=”path_to_your_xml_file” />
Make sure “path_to_your_xml_file” points to your RSS 2.0 feed (index.xml, for example). That’s it.
My newscrawler thanks you, and I thank you.
Blogcritics was tapped as one of the best media blogs by Forbes. This has got to be some great validation for Eric Olsen after all the hard work he has put into it.
There is a reader survey at the site, and Blogcritics is trailing. Go over there and show your support!
PCWorld.com – Does File Trading Fund Terrorism?
Is it a stretch to say that massive profits are being made from the multi-billion dollar peer-to-peer filesharing industry? Of course not. As Lamar Smith (R-Texas) says, “…selling illegally copied materials can be more lucrative than selling illegal drugs…” It’s the drug trade of the 21st century.
