Let loose, Ravenhill fans, your team has won the Mordor Conference Goblin Division.
The Ravenhill Darkwings have officially captured the crown, the 19th in franchise history.
“We’ve got a team that can do it all and we think do it just as well as anyone in the league,” said first baseman Forerunner *Baggins. “I hope no one is taking us lightly once the playoffs start.”
Certainly the team’s division crown will garner them a fair bit of respect, as the 85-70 record puts the club in position for the franchise’s 3rd Tolkien Baseball championship.
“You never get tired of being in the playoffs,” said manager Moggek Ghoulslobberer. “This is what you play for.”
