Proving the old adage that one man’s trash is another man’s treasure, the Royals announced today the acquisition of 32-year old 1B Kradash Moonkiller from the Dyson Spheres in exchange for 24-year old minor league RF Sa-yoor Bratvold. “This isn’t the deal of the century,” acknowledged the Royals, “but we think it will improve the direction of both teams.”
This season, Bratvold has delivered 8 hits in 49 at-bats for a .163 average with 3 home runs. He is getting on base at a .354 clip and his totals also include 8 RBIs and 11 runs scored. This year Bratvold has played in 15 games.
Lifetime Moonkiller has played in 102 games, batted .245 with 22 home runs and 94 base hits.
