A trade was announced today at a press conference in Old Forest. Not satisfied with their current roster, the Old Forest Merry Fellows general manager shook things up by acquiring 33-year old C Maiele Dracoseir from the Gallifrey Time Lords for 25-year old minor league 1B Amanda Goodbody, 20-year old minor league C Hadrien Legaldur, 18-year old minor league LF Muugak Fariq, 23-year old minor league LF Kurgaz Borgsson, and $10,000,000 in cash.
“We’re a better team now,” Merry Fellows general manager Tom Bombadil said. “We’ve added several pieces to the puzzle.”
Old Forest will retain a portion of Goodbody’s remaining contract.
Gallifrey will retain a portion of Dracoseir’s remaining contract.
Posting a .182 batting average to date, Goodbody has 1 home run and 4 RBIs.
In his career, Dracoseir has played in 492 games with a .271 batting average. Among his 497 hits are 115 doubles, 4 triples, and 37 home runs. He has also scored 245 runs, walked 193 times, tallied no stolen bases, and driven in 213 runs.
