Celebrating a playoff clinch never gets old, according to Ferdinand *Puttifoot of the Bywater Bounders.
“I could do this each and every year,” the third baseman said as he celebrated his team officially having clinched a playoff spot. “It’s why we play the game – to get to the playoffs and have a chance to become Return of the King Series champions.”
The Shire Conference Hobbit Division club has a record of 90-67 and will be seeking the franchise’s 3rd Tolkien Baseball championship.
