Riding the 2-hit performance of first baseman Sam *Oakenstaff, the Carrock Bears stopped the visiting Dol Guldur Dragons, 3-2, in Game 4 of the Return of the King Series. *Oakenstaff was 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Bears, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 3 games to 1.
A key moment came with two out in the bottom of the third. That’s when *Oakenstaff hit a sinker from Beppe Smirti for a 2-run home run, putting Carrock up, 3-0.
“We found a way to get it done,” *Oakenstaff said.
