Bounders Move on to Return of the King Series

The Two Towers Series may not have lived up to the expectation that it would be a dogfight that would go the distance. The Bywater Bounders, however, are not complaining.

The Bounders were plenty happy to have wrapped up the series early and to have knocked out the Carrock Bears to advance to the Return of the King Series.

Bywater won the final game by a 5-1 count at The Water Park and the series 4-1.

Bounders third baseman Ferdinand *Puttifoot was named series MVP, as he hit .444 with a .545 on-base percentage. He added 5 home runs, drove in 11 RBI and scored 9 runs.

“It’s not going to be the last time Carrock makes it to the playoffs, so it’s sure a nice feeling to put them out this year,” *Puttifoot said. “We just need to keep this going and take it day by day.”

The Bywater Bounders don’t know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Dol Guldur Dragons – Dead Marshes Uruk-hai series. Dead Marshes leads the series 2 games to 1. The Return of the King Series schedule will be announced after the Two Towers Series finishes.
