The manager of the Erebor Eagles said he always had confidence handing the ball to Hsin-ping Sandybanks out of the bullpen.
The 28-year-old was a dominant performer all year for Erebor and his efforts have been rewarded with the Shire Conference Gwaihir Reliever Award for 2048.
The bullpen ace had an impressive 2.05 ERA this season, with 32 saves in 61 relief appearances. He fanned 98 batters in 66 innings and sported a record of 4 wins and 6 losses.
Darrick Hafer of the Bywater Bounders finished second in voting, while Yosai Graber of the Old Forest Merry Fellows finished third.
