An outstanding season by the Royals garnered their manager Gruulok Oppenheimer the Shire Conference Manager of the Year award for 2048. He led Rivendell to a 100-62 record this year and a first place finish in the Shire Conference Elf Division.
Even so, Oppenheimer seemed less than thrilled. “I don’t give a darn about the award,” he growled to reporters, “I just want this team to win championships!”
