Getting w.bloggar-fied
Thanks to Gnome Lad – fighter for Truth, Justice, and the American Way – I am making this post using a new toy. w.bloggar is a free application from Marcelo Cabral that tries to make writing blog posts as easy (or as hard) as using Microsoft Word.
The application sits between you and your blog publishing software. It provides a Word-like interface with all the little toolbar buttons for formating text and even has a spellchecker. w.bloggar is compatible with Blogger, b2, Nucleus, BigBlogTool, Blogworks XML, Blogalia, Drupal, and, of course, Movable Type.
Now you can make your posts look all purty without having to memorize all that pesky HTML stuff.

It’s Surreal, Man
In case you hadn’t noticed, the happy little Surrealy family is having problems. So, while the goddess kd tries to sort everything out (while working 15 hour days), they’re all hanging out at slacker Dave’s Acerbia. He wasn’t using it anyway.
So, if you’ve been missing fresh, creamy goodness from Mig (Feral Living), Jilly (JadedJu) and Susan (Bob the Corgi), you’ll find it aplenty over there.

February Referrer Madness

There were 11019 unique visitors in the horrid month of February, for a total of 356,200 hits. This was down slightly from January for two reasons:
- February had three fewer days than January.
- February sucked ass.

Ultimate Punk Band Name
Scott thinks that he has found the ultimate punk band name. Bah! We came up with the ultimate punk band name a long time ago.
Remember when Wendy’s used to have tables with those old 1890’s catalog ads on them? Never mind if you don’t. Trust me.
Anyway, we were chompin’ on a double-cheeeeeburgah one day when we saw two phrases that had been accidentally cropped from their ads: torpid liver. artificial limbs.
In a flash, our next band name came to us…

Every Day Is Fat Tuesday
This is Ash Wednesday, in case you didn’t notice. That means that Mardis Gras is officially over, unless you’re a clueless corporate greed machine. Mardis Gras – “Fat Tuesday” – the last chance to party and get it out of your system before the solemness of Lent does not run from February 21 to April 26.
I know I should just lighten up. But it bugs me. OK?
