The Minas Morgul Slayers were dealt a severe blow when Udhagh the Crazy Bastard was hurt running the bases recently in a game against the Erebor Eagles. After the game, the team trainer reported the Crazy Bastard might have to spend a lengthy time on the injured list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 29-year-old catcher out for the rest of the season with a broken bone in the elbow. They indicated it would take the Crazy Bastard at least 7 months to heal.
This season the Crazy Bastard is batting .251 with 43 hits, 3 home runs, 20 RBIs, 7 walks, .279 OBP and has scored 12 runs. He has played in 48 games.
