Forerunner *Baggins, known affectionately as “the old man” by the younger players in the Darkwings clubhouse, showed his teammates how to do it last week — and in the process the 39-year-old vet beat out all competition for the Mordor Conference Player of the Week Award.
He put up a .375 batting average, 9 hits in 24 at-bats, 4 home runs and 8 RBIs. *Baggins also scored 6 runs.
*Baggins is batting .300 with 27 home runs and 53 RBIs this season.
