There was magic on the mound today at Celebrant Field as Lothlorien Lumberjacks starter Eroan Cruden no-hit the Numenor Kings.
Cruden held Numenor hitters spellbound and helpless in a masterful display of pitching, leading the Lumberjacks to a 2-0 win.
“It was like I was in a dream,” Cruden said afterward. “The ball just went right where I wanted it to.”
In his mound masterpiece, Cruden rang up 10 strikeouts and issued 1 walk.
To date this season Cruden has compiled a 4-11 record with a 4.79 ERA in 19 starts.
