The manager of the Erebor Eagles said “a lot of hard work, talent and luck” are the reasons for his team’s Shire Conference Hobbit Division championship.
“This club believes in themselves and goes out and gets it done,” said Lumja Grelf. “You can’t ask for much more than that as a manager.”
It’s the club’s 8th division crown and gives them an opportunity to win the franchise’s 2nd Return of the King Series.
“We want that title badly,” said third baseman Cedivar Pennypacker as he took a break from celebrating with teammates. “This is just a start.”
