Ferdinand *Puttifoot of the Bywater Bounders said fighting for a playoff spot is an “absolute grind” in Tolkien Baseball.
The grind is now over, as the Bounders have captured a wild card berth.
“It’s a weight off our shoulders and now we can exhale,” said the third baseman. “It’s hard to describe how much effort and focus goes into this.”
Team manager Girith of Rhun believes his club has something to prove and they are looking forward to the postseason.
