For the 7th time in his storied career, Ferdinand *Puttifoot has been named the Shire Conference Most Valuable Player. He added to his crowded trophy case with an impressive .340 with 64 HR and 150 RBI. At an age when most players would be considering retirement, *Puttifoot tied the 3rd highest number of homers in a season and the 10th best RBI season.
Old Forest’s Alrond *Hubbard Jr. finished 2nd in the voting, and Celain Buckland of Bywater was 3rd.
