The Darkwings pulled out all the stops today to announce the signing of reliever Asko Fern. The 33-year-old is one of the game’s preeminent playmakers and has definitely proven why he was such an attractive signing.
The contract is a 2-year deal worth $40,000,000.
Fern has appeared in 280 games and captured 88 saves over his career. He has 39 wins and 26 losses and a 3.22 ERA with 539 strikeouts in 545.1 innings.
