Hit Parade: Roman Pops 5 Hits

Saturday, April 10th , 2049
The Isengard Raiders stopped the Grey Havens Stars by a score of 6-2 at Grey Havens Field today, with the lion’s share of the credit going to second baseman Jaimie Roman. The 30-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits.

“Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate,” Roman said later. “He wants to hit the ball hard.”

Roman did just that in his 5 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Stars.

“Not much that I can say,” offered Grey Havens manager Denaigol Denaihir. “He just hammered the heck out of us.”

Jaimie Roman singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

Thus far this season Roman has hit .345 with 1 home run, 2 RBIs and scored 3 times.
