Though his face is weathered and his hands are callused, Joel Elvàviel can still get it done in Tolkien Baseball. The 35-year-old shortstop for Dead Marshes was named the Mordor Conference Batter of the Month today after putting up an impressive performance at the plate.
In July he batted .276 with 11 home runs, 24 RBIs and 18 runs scored.
So far this season Elvàviel is hitting .276 with 39 home runs, 84 RBIs and 77 runs scored. He has 99 hits in 359 at-bats and a .404 OBP.
