Poto Sauter of the Slayers just might have to call it quits for the season. The 28-year-old Minas Morgul closer received a possible season-ending injury against the Dagorlad Disaster recently at Sylvan Cove. Sauter suffered a forearm strain while throwing a pitch. The Slayers medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 6 weeks.
Sauter has worked 87.1 innings in 79 relief appearances thus far this season and picked up 45 saves. He has dished out 127 strikeouts and walked 26 with a 8-6 mark and a 1.85 ERA.
