Misagenes Foebinder said it takes “a lot of dedication and sacrifice” to win a division title. That’s why he and his Dunharrow Devils teammates were so excited to celebrate their Mordor Conference Orc Division championship today.
“It’s been a team effort all year long,” he said. “You don’t get to this point without the guys in the room believing in what we’re doing.”
That belief has paced the club to a 79-81 record on the season. It is the club’s 9th Mordor Conference Orc Division championship and puts them in position for their 4th Tolkien Baseball championship.
“It’s a talented bunch in that room,” manager Mifur Bronzevisor said pointing to his celebrating players. “I wouldn’t bet against us.”
