Riding the 2-hit performance of center fielder Xandra *Thornflower, the Minas Morgul Slayers got a road win against the Ravenhill Darkwings, 5-3, in Game 4 of the Fellowship Series today. *Thornflower was 2 for 4 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. She scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Slayers, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 3 games to 1.
*Thornflower had a critical at-bat in the top of the seventh for Minas Morgul, coming through with a 2-run home run to put Minas Morgul in front, 5-3.
“Winning is always a team effort,” *Thornflower said after the game.
