All playoffs end with joy on one side and despair on the other. Today, the Bywater Bounders are the ones feeling overwhelmed with excitement, and the Carrock Bears are the ones thinking about what they could have done differently.
The Bounders took a 3-2 victory at Old League Park today, which gave Bywater a 4-1 series win.
With the win, Bywater will advance to play in the Two Towers Series.
“We aren’t ready to go home yet,” said Bounders left fielder Kudzog Nailslobberer, who was named series MVP.
The Bywater Bounders don’t know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Minas Tirith Titans – Erebor Eagles series. Erebor leads the series 3 games to 2. The Two Towers Series schedule will be announced after the Fellowship Series finishes.
