Riding the 3-hit performance of second baseman Wes Eärémbor, the Bywater Bounders flattened the Erebor Eagles, 10-5, in Game 3 of the Two Towers Series today. Eärémbor slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Bounders, who now lead 3-0 in the best-of-7 series.
The game was all tied up in the top of the eighth, until Eärémbor delivered big-time for Bywater, stroking a dramatic 3-run home run off Hsin-ping Sandybanks. The game-changing hit put the Bounders on top, 8-5.
“It’s a good day to be a fan after a win like that,” Eärémbor told the Bywater Today.
