The Bywater Bounders started the Two Towers Series in style today, downing the visiting Erebor Eagles at The Water Park by a score of 7-3 to grab an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Bounders left fielder Thrubgunk Toora was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once.
Toora came through for the Bounders in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Bywater leading 1-0, the left fielder hit a grand slam home run. It made the score 5-0, Bywater.
“Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse,” Toora told the Bywater Today.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Saturday, October 23rd , 2049.
