The Bywater Bounders have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Minas Morgul Slayers, winning 8-2 at The Water Park today. Bounders right fielder Kudzog Nailslobberer was 3 for 3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs. The win cuts the deficit facing the Bounders to 2-1 in the best-of-7 Return of the King Series.
Drakki Anvilrender aided the Bywater cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the first. For the game, the first baseman drove in one run.
“We took advantage of our opportunities,” Anvilrender told the Bywater Today. “It’s as simple as that.”
