Rafee Bayle was not about to watch an opponent celebrate a championship on his home field.

The left-hander pitched the New New York Blernsballers to victory at Blernsballers Ballpark today, staving off the Bywater Bounders, who remain one game away from a title. Bayle threw 5.0 innings of 4-hit ball. The win cuts the series deficit for the Blernsballers to 3-2 in the best-of-7 series.

Galealbo Gandudriel hit a 2-run double off Blahoslav Cormyth in the bottom of the first, which put the Blernsballers in front, 2-1. In addition to the double, Gandudriel had 1 single, while going 2 for 5.

“I was the aggressor,” said Bayle. “No doubt about it.”

The next game is set to be played for Saturday, November 13th , 2049 at The Water Park.
