The Minas Tirith Titans have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It’s Snaglut Baldivía, this year’s Shire Conference Gandalf Pitcher Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance.
Baldivía compiled a 18-8 record in 33 starts, tallied 274 strikeouts in 224.2 innings and recorded a 2.80 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .202 batting average against him.
Frugorn Coronda of the Minas Ithil Wyrms finished second in voting, while Darrick Hafer of the Bywater Bounders finished third.
