It was a very productive rookie season for Moria center fielder Ondabrar Celuthor. He made the club, made the starting lineup, then in the regular season put up numbers impressive enough that the Shire Conference presented him the league’s Frodo Rookie Award for 2049.
It was a season to remember for the 22-year-old Miners newcomer. In addition to hitting .277, Celuthor played in 132 games and collected 33 home runs, 82 RBIs and 81 runs scored.
Orgulas Miller of the Old Forest Merry Fellows finished second in voting, while Dablag Humanslurper of the Rivendell Royals finished third.
