Proving the old adage that one man’s trash is another man’s treasure, the Merry Fellows announced today the acquisition of 26-year old 3B Gamodoc Denihil from the Tatooine Sandcrawlers in exchange for 29-year old 2B Thogmug Giantthrottler. “This isn’t the deal of the century,” acknowledged the Merry Fellows, “but we think it will improve the direction of both teams.”
Old Forest will retain a portion of Giantthrottler’s remaining contract.
Over his career Giantthrottler has batted .246 and collected 176 hits, 6 home runs and 67 RBIs.
